Shru Tries ✨ - ABBA Voyage finally!

My mom has been a fan of ABBA and when we grew up she’d often play some songs. Overtime I picked up a few and started listening to more myself. It was super emotional and absolutely stunning to go experience it. I went by myself because I have been looking it up since before I moved to London and have always wanted to go check it out. When I found out that LCF has student discounts (until the end of November) I had to jump at the chance. I will surely bring my mum and my sister back here someday soon.

Also, all the lovely ladies who dressed up to the 9s made my night. It was absolutely adorable to see all the ol gals have so much fun. Now that’s what I want to be when I grow older.

Until then, what a night to remember. 🤌✨

Instagram’s algorithm introduced me to @shankeys.hackney . It was a cute and cozy diner. The food was reminiscent to indian fine dining with hints of chaat (street food). My personal favourites were the Oysters, the Lamb in scallops and shrimp sause and the Gulab Jamun

Menu:
Beer - £4.5
Carlingford Rock Oyster - £4.5 each
Cauli cheese paratha - £6.5
Saag Alloo - £7
Lamb in scallop and shrimp sause - £28
Gulab Jamun - £8

Keep in mind they do keep changing their menu with guest chefs etc. I give it a solid 9/10

I was given a mission by Halls Life to look for cute outfits under £20. So I decided to hit the streets of Highbury and Islington. It’s my favourite locality to shop second hand because of its vast array of charity shops from @mariecurieuk, @cr_uk Research, @oxfamgb @crisis_uk and many more.

Overall, it was a cute day to go outfit hunting 10/10 would totally do it again! 💅

✨ Bonus - I later stumbled upon Goldsmith Vintage in Charing Cross where everything is £12! What a steal!

I never really felt like I belonged to a particular aesthetic. I love trying different aesthetics all the time. This is one time I have felt confident enough to step out of my room. Felt like a super anxious goth baby yesterday but damn was it a whole new experience.

I have always been too afraid of gore/paranomal activity as a genre but loved SFX as a make up student. The flea felt like a good balance between the two and while it was super outside my comfort zone, I’d rate it 8/10.

I may do this again.
